Miami Nightlife

Few spots on the map have such legendary nightlife as Miami. The problem here lies in seeing everything during one vacation. The center of nightlife here is South Beach, but there are happening clubs in both downtown and even near the airport. Walks along Collins Ave and on the beach can take hours so bring comfortable shoes. Most clubs have covers so be prepared.

1. B.E.D. - 929 Washington Ave – Miami Beach - website

This super fashionable lounge sets itself apart from the rest by offering drinks, meals and appetizers to customers seated not at tables but on beds! Don’t be surprised to see celebrities and important folks at this South Beach staple. This is a club that has to be seen to be believed!

2. Hardaway's Firehouse Four - 1000 South Miami Avenue - website

Located between downtown and South Beach, this fashionable club is one of the neatest spots for Happy Hour and a good place to meet locals, too. The club is housed inside an old firehouse and easily has more charm than most clubs in the city.

3. Dek23 -  655 Washington Ave – South Beach - website

One of the many clubs you’ll pass as you walk up and down the South Beach streets, Dek23 is a four dance floor extravaganza, with each dance floor blaring the latest hits. Yet another super fashionable spot where you can expect to see celebrities at every turn.

4. Lobby Lounge - 500 Brickell Key Drive Miami - website

If you’re looking for a somewhat quieter place to have a drink and relax, the Lobby Lounge is a no attitude spot located amongst the line of business class hotels on the mainland just south of South Beach. This particular lounge features excellent food to go with your wine or beer.

5. Premiere Wine Club -  145 North Miami Avenue Miami - website

Ever wanted to go to a place where the food is chosen to compliment the wine instead of the other way around? The Premiere Wine Club is heaven for wine lovers. Choose from over 500 different kinds of wine, including varieties that you might not find anywhere else.

6. SoHo Lounge - 175 NE 36th St Miami - website

The SoHo is proof that a good dance club can exist away from the din of South Beach. Located on 36th St, the SoHo has a massive two level dance floor that is always hopping. Worth checking out if the attitude of South Beach is a turn off.

7. Bricks Nightclub - 66 SW 6th Street Miami - website

If you want the biggest and best of everything, than it’s time to experience Bricks! With an incredible view of the entire Miami skyline and over 10,000 square feet of dance space, Bricks is the place to be if you want to dance all night long!

8. Power Studios - 3701 Northeast Second Avenue – Miami - website

Helping to keep downtown relevant, The Power Studios is both a nice dance club and a famous performance space for local artists. Make sure you call ahead as this club offers entertainment as different as poetry readings and techno dance nights.

9. Players of Miami - 30 Northeast 11th Street Miami - website

Watch the big game in style and class at the Players Club of Miami. With widescreen televisions at every turn and excellent pub food as well as steaks and fine martinis, you’ll never want to watch sports in any other environment again.

10. Duffy’s Tavern - 2108 SW 57th Ave Miami - website

The other side of the Players Club is Duffy’s. Be transported back to your college days with this traditional sports pub. The environment here is always rocking, no matter what game is on. Cheap beer and good burgers make this place a must visit to any hardcore sports fan.
