The Palms Hotel is a stylish ocean front resort hotel, located in the more peaceful Northern end of South Beach, close enough to the action but far enough away for some peace. The hotel has a great boardwalk for jogging at the back of the hotel, private access to the beach and lush manicured gardens with beachside hammocks swinging from palm trees.

There are 243 guestrooms in 12- and nine-story towers. Rooms are spacious, modern and comfortable with contemporary, custom-designed wood furnishings and panoramic views of either the ocean or the city.

Guestroom amenities include 32-inch plasma TVs, CD players, desks, ceiling fans, cordless phones, minibars, satellite television and internet access (surcharge) . TV comes with premium channels, pay movies, video games (surcharge). Bathrooms offer Aveda bath products.

The Palms South Beach Restaurants

The Dining Room - The hotel’s signature restaurant offers Mediterranean-style cuisine, specializing in fresh seafood. Guests can dine indoors or outdoors overlooking the ocean. A breakfast buffet along with à la carte lunch and dinner are featured daily. A prix fix three course meal is offered each evening.

The Veranda Bar - Mojitos are the specialty drink at this bar off the lobby that serves cocktails, frozen drinks, and light appetizers. Guests can also relax on the covered terrace overlooking the gardens. Live entertainment (selected nights).

The Beach Bar - Located poolside, the Beach Bar serves light snacks and drinks. Open mid-morning to early evening (seasonal, weather permitting).

The Great Room - Guests can enjoy the quiet of the hotel’s lobby for cocktails, tea, or coffee. Morning to late evening.

The Palms South Beach Facilities

Hotel facilities include a heated outdoor swimming pool where complimentary yoga sessions take place three times a week. A fully equipped fitness centre,10,000 square feet of meeting space and a business centre with computer access and high-speed Internet.

Guests will find a variety of water sports that run off the beach, plus two 18-hole golf courses within a 5-minute drive of the hotel (the concierge can arrange special rates and tee times).
